I feel like I title a lot of my posts busy! lol
We did have a busy day today. We were up and off pretty early for us. At 1, our new friends from the pizza place that asked me about Rick called me for a play day at the park. Of course the girls had a great time! This park was so cool that I should have taken pictures but I left my camera in the car!
They played with their new friend, Ashley and her brother Jake. Jake is 8 and Ashley is 5. There was no school today so that's why they were able to play. Anyway the park had two different areas. One was a rock wall climbing thingy with a play structure near it and then the other had sand and water. Of course the kids all wanted to play in the sand and the water. They built sand castles and had a good time until these boys...imagine that...hellian boys! lol came along and started throwing wet sand at the girls.
I should have said there were 3 areas of the park because they had a run through water thing that they all got SOAKING wet in! In their clothes! lol They loved it and would have stayed there for hours!!
After we left the park, we had to head to Safeway, wet clothes and all, because we were going over to our friend Bonnie's house to watch the game. Bonnie has an 8 month old boy that the girls just love. They were so good playing gentle with him. They even helped give Griffin a bath! Ashleigh tells me she just loved helping out with Griffin!
Rick can't believe that I actually have friends now! lol It is crazy what a difference a year makes. Last year I was so unhappy and did NOT want to be here. In fact I think I could easily say I hated it here. Now I still don't love it here...but I am starting to like it a little bit. I am much happier and it feels good to be happy!
I gotta get to bed....tomorrow is another busy day with soccer in the morning, then pictures and then hockey. Hopefully the Sharks will play a LOT better than tonight....they didn't do so good. In fact I think they forgot to show up tonight! lol Oh well! You can't win them all! Tomorrow's a different day!
