Things Are Back To Normal.....

or are they ever normal?!? lol

It was very nice having company for the last week or so. We are so used to being just the 4 of us that it was good to have our family come and visit and be able to show them things and share a bit of our crazy lifestyle with them. I think everyone that visits us is amazed at how much Rick is at work and that he really isn't home!!

Rick's mom and dad made it home late last night. A much better drive in the day over the snowy pass then at night when they came here. I think they got ahead of the storm that brought rain our way and for sure snow the colder and higher up you went.

Speaking of weather...it has been flippin COLD COLD COLD here! It rains all the time and the sun barely comes out! It snowed at 1000 feet last week. That's insane!! I know that my mom and family in Montana have been getting tons and tons of snow and below zero temps all the time....so I can't complain a lot...but MAN it is soooo cold here!! lol

The girls are getting ready for Santa and Christmas. Everyday we move the counter down a day. They can't wait!! Me...I have oh so much to wrap! I'm going to be wrapping for days!!! I got a lot wrapped yesterday when Rick took the girls to the rink with him. I need another day like that! lol

All of our holiday parties are finished. We enjoy the so much. It is very nice for people to open up their homes to everyone that comes. I am totally exhausted and just want to chill and have a PJ day and watch TV! lol That's not going to happen until after Christmas I think!

Today we are making cookies. I love to bake and I haven't done a lot of it with our company so we are getting our bake on today!!

I'll post pictures later when I have a few minutes....I wanted to update everyone and felt I neglected my poor blog! lol Oh and our photographer that took our Christmas picture, put Addison's picture on his website.

Okay I gotta run....cookies are calling my name!! Until next time........

So Busy As Usual!

Again it seems that life has gotten in the way of me blogging! We have company so we have been extra busy with doing things and just being busy. I have SOOO many pictures to post that it isn't even funny!! But to those of you wondering...we are alive and well....and extremely flipping busy!

Two Days In A Row!!!

WWWOOOOOOHHHOOOOOO!!!!! LOL

I am going to keep this quick because I am so very tired tonight! We had a fun filled day of baking Christmas cookies and just cleaning the house up. I seem to clean and the girls make a bigger mess...hence the reason I don't normal clean! lol

Good news today....Rick's sister is coming on Saturday for almost a week!!!! YAY!! I can't wait to see her! Not to mention I am in desperate need of a haircut and color! lol She is my BFF and I miss her oh soooo much!! Hopefully Rick's parent's will be able to join us and it will be like a family reunion...even if it is only for a few days. I'm so super excited I could pee!!!

We went and picked up pictures from our photographer that took our Christmas card pictures. I'm not going to show the ones we are using for our card until after everyone gets them. I ordered the cards tonight and can go and get them tomorrow and then out in the mail hopefully on Friday. Here are two pictures that I just love to death. The girls are so beautiful that I can't believe they are ours! lol Ashleigh smiled so good and Addison was hamming it up as usual. I'm hoping the next time we take pictures, Ashleigh will be more relaxed and we can get one of her like we did Addison. Our photographer loves the picture and wants to shoot the girls again at this old winery that is just amazing! I can't wait!!

I hope you enjoy the pictures as much as I do!

It Has Been So Long.....

That I forgot what I posted last about!!!

What the hell is wrong with me?!?!?!??!!! lol

I keep saying I am going to spend more time blogging...but I swear it's this time of year that is crazy!!! Let me recap a few of the things we have been doing lately.

Of course there are Sharks games. The last one we lost in overtime....better than a regulation loss but still a loss. Mom had a severe low blood sugar that night...not a good thing for those of you that don't know what it is. She's blaming it on the Sharks losing! lol Nothing funny about it...she's okay now and doing well.

We had the Sharks annual holiday party on Sunday. We skated...and by we I mean the whole Bronny Bunch got on skates!!! I'm serious when I say that I think it took me longer to lace them up then I skated!!! It was quite the sight! Ashleigh is a better skater than I am!!! Addison did very well too...for about as long as I was on the ice! She got very nervous with the fast skaters and pucks flying everywhere. Rick is a good skater and skated with Ashleigh for a bit. She skated and skated and skated!

They fed us lunch/dinner which was amazing as always. Then Santa came out and each kid got a gift. Now we were in a huge hurry because we had to get our family picture taken for our Christmas card (outside before it got dark) so we were hoping the girls would be called first to get their gifts....not so much! Addison was called pretty quick and got her gift. Seriously it was bigger than she was!! Everyone got a laugh out of her trying to carry it back to Rick and I. Ashleigh waited to patiently for her gift. I think she was one of the last ones. She didn't go and look at the gifts, just sat there and waited. Addison got a Little People Royal Castle and Ashleigh got a Dora Bowling Set. Addison's gift I already bought to give to her! lol I just returned it and got something else. The girls had such a fun time. We are very thankful to be part of an organization like this one.

The GM's wife came up to us and told us how polite and well behaved the girls were during games. Boy do they have her fooled! lol On a more serious note, it made me feel really good that she would say that. They are such nice people and to get a compliment like that from them, it meant alot! We try very hard to teach the girls good habits and sometimes wonder if the hard work shows...well it does.

Okay then after a quick clothes change, off to get our picture taken. This guy that Rick met at the rink is AMAZING with his camera!!! Ashleigh had a forced smile for our family picture, but when she was playing and he was just shooting.....he was able to really capture her true personality. He took a picture of Addison that belongs in a magazine! It is fantastic! I think we are going to blow it up and print one for our wall. Addison is just so happy to be photographed, like her Dad and Aunt! and Ashleigh is a little more timid...like me. I usually have the cheesy smile going on. We are just waiting to get everything back so the Christmas cards can be made and sent out. I don't send out too many...probably around 40 with everyone on the team and whatnot. That's way more than I used to send. 20 would cover it for us! Now everyone on the team sends us one so I send on back.

So after another quick change of clothes we decided to wrap up a fabulous day with a movie. We love taking the girls to the movies. They just love them. Ashleigh is a total popcorn hog!! We usually get a big bag to share....well from now on she gets her own little kids pack because she chows it all down! lol Anyway we went and saw Bolt. A GREAT GREAT movie! Definitely one will buy when it comes out. If you have kids, love animals, and haven't seen it.....go!

Then last night we had the Training staff dinner at the trainer's house. It, like all the dinners we go to, was awesome!! The girls went to KidsPark, the drop in daycare. They had a blast. Addison peed her pants!! Every time she wears these certain pants, she pees....never fails!! lol They called me and asked if it was okay the had a pair of underwear to put on her and a long shirt and no pants. I forgot to bring her extra just in case clothes. I told them that was fine. We pick them up and she lifts up her shirt and says..."Look Mommy...SPIDERMAN panties!!!" I guess the only underwear they had were boy underwear. She just thought it was the greatest thing to be in boy "panties" as she calls them!

So as you can see we have been busy...not to mention trying to get everything ready for shipping and finishing up my shopping. I can't wait to post about Rick taking the girls to the mall by himself tonight!!! Until then.....

An Experience.....And Not A Good One!

Rick actually got the day off today! Yay!! Someone at the rink gave him, a few weeks ago, Raiders/Chiefs tickets. Now those of you that know Rick know that he will always love his Chiefs and we always love to see them no matter which team they are playing. We have seen them many times at Arrowhead, three or four times at Reliant when they played the Texans and now we can add seeing them in Oakland Coliseum playing the Raiders to our list. Let's just say that it was an experience...and not a good one at all!!! We won't be going back!! 49ers games for us only now!

We had to get their late because KidsPark, the drop in daycare, wasn't open until 1:00 and the game started at 1:15. All I can say is that we had NO idea what we were in store for!! Thank God we didn't bring the girls!!

It all started when we were trying to find our parking lot. Luckily with the tickets we were given a parking pass. The first guy we asked just pointed in a vague direction and refused to talk! OoooKay whatever floats your boat buddy was what I was thinking. The next guy actually had a voice and told us that way and pointed. The third guy actually seemed to have a brain and said it was the next gate.

These are pictures of the stadium from the drive in and once we actually got parked in our lot.

Again, we have seen a lot of different stadiums and arenas and games....but never a mess like this!! I'm all about the tailgating...but come on! These people are pigs! Oh I couldn't wait to get into the stadium at this point!

Now this is where it gets interesting. So like I said we got there late..but better late then never right? We get patted down to even get in the stadium. We walk into a cloud of cigarette smoke because apparently the smoking area is right in the tunnel to where you walk in at. I'm not a smoker so I seriously about gagged! Now we have to try to find our seats. Luckily they were near where we came in. There are people screaming and yelling everywhere! We have experienced a lot of professional sporting events...but this one is one that won't soon be forgotten!!

We find our section and our row and discover that their are no empty seats in the row and we are still standing the aisle! I don't know much about football etiquette because I only know hockey but we try to wait until a break in the action, and believe me there wasn't much action even going on, before looking for just some random seats to sit in. I am too scared to sit in seats that aren't ours and Rick is too scared to ask someone to move from our seats! lol We...well I decided to go get the usher and have him help us with our seats....which I'm thinking is the best choice right? WRONG!!!!

Rick wanted to leave at this point and my dumbass insisted that we at least stay a bit. So I tell the usher I think someone is in our seats. He looks at me like I am speaking a foreign language and says....."What do you mean....YOU THINK?!?!?!" So I tell him that our row is full and there is someone in our seats. He just looks at us like, again, we are speaking a foreign language. Now I may be wrong, but isn't it an ushers job to deal with this?? Apparently the Oakland Raiders have different ideas as to what an usher should do.

Rick is really getting paranoid now because he doesn't know what I am going to do!! lol I'm about to bust in the row and sit down. Damn it I wanted to watch the game!! So I try to tell these kids that they are in our seats. Again, the dumb look from them....and finally they moved so we could sit down. Heaven forbid we have to get up to pee!!!

This seriously was the crappiest stadium we had ever seen! A total dumperoonie!! There were people literally hanging over the top edge of the upper bowl. I would have puked if we were up there!

There were a few brave souls that actually wore red....us not being two of them! There was a guy two seats over from us that was a Chiefs fan but wearing a black hoodie and the fans were all over him....saying things like..."Where are you colors?....Let's beat him up?" So we were pretty quiet in cheering for the Chiefs!

So knowing me, and you all do! lol, there were LOTS of crazy fans to take pictures of!! That was the best part for me!

This guy was great!! It wasn't hot, but it wasn't cold either. This guy HAD to be sweating!! I know there isn't a sport I like well enough to dress up like this!

This guy just scares me....although not as much as some of the other Raider Nation, as I am told it is called, did!! There we chicks with their boobs popping out of their shirts there too! CRAZY!!!

Now I like football...but not when both team SUCK! The Raiders were 3-8 I think and the Chiefs were 1-10. They pretty much just stood around! I was so bored!! I think that Rick was bored too! There were calling timeouts with 20 seconds left in the half when they had possession of the ball!

The fans were so mean to this guy! He is walking around selling Dibs ice cream bites and this one guy kept hitting his little balloon thing that said Dibs on it....not once....not twice...but three times! I felt so bad for this guy!

Notice we are NOT wearing Raiders colors! lol I sure wasn't wearing red in fear I would have gotten shot and there was no way in hell I was wearing Raiders colors!! I think after this game I might actually hate the Raiders more than I did!!!

Rick made me take a picture with this guy or whatever it was! I was seriously crapping my pants because I was so scared of him! These people are so f-ing crazy it's nuts!! Again who wears things like this???

There were two of these guys with the black mask/head things. I have never seen anything like what we experienced. I don't even know if words and pictures do it justice!

The good thing is that the Chiefs improved their record to 2-10 after beating them 20-13...GO CHIEFS!! lol

The best part of the day was when we stopped by Krispy Kreme Donuts on the way home and picked up this dozen of holiday donuts for the girls. So cute! There isn't one really close so we don't go there too often so it was a treat for us! Oh and Rick took me to Lane Bryant and bought me some new clothes! After a day like we had, we needed some retail therapy! lol He's the greatest!

Tis The Flippin Season!

So I am crazily (if that is even a word) pissed tonight!! Here's our before picture.......

Notice the slight and ever so slight lean to the right...........

Well let me tell you the events of tonight before I post the after picture!!

I just came in from the garage after switching over some laundry when I noticed that a branch of the tree had fallen on the ground and the lights in the back were kinda messed up. I wanted everything to look all Christmasy so that Rick wouldn't notice the house being a mess! I turned on the lights in the village...and left the lights on outside and left the tree on. So I decide to try and fix the branch....not a good idea!!!

I get my not so small self on the ground and proceed to try to get under the tree to fix it. The dog starts barking because I am making so much noise trying to find the hole that they branch goes into. Addison comes out to see what is going on. Keep in mind that it is after midnight when all of this is occurring.

After yelling at Gus and telling Addison to go back to bed before I spank her...like I would have been able to get up that fast! Anyway back to work I go on trying to fix the tree. I finally find the hole and things are good.....until I try to straighten the tree. I should have left well enough alone....but oh no! Not me!!

So I gradually start to pull the tree to the right thinking that it just needs to be settled on the carpet differently. That's when things went bad!! I hear a crack. Now I'm not stupid....but apparently I had both a blonde moment and a woman moment. I heard the crack but didn't really think something was going on....remember I am the one that missed the track at the car wash and did $3800 in damage to my car! Okay so I still pull it to the right.......and well it is to the right more now....not standing up!!!

So now I am freaking out because it is late for one, two Gus is barking again, and three Addison comes out and wants to know what I did to the tree!! I don't have a clue what I am going to do!! So I call Rick thinking since he just landed that he will be sympathetic....WRONG!!! After telling him what happens, he laughs....and laughs hard!!!

After he gets done laughing, he tells me to leave it and he will look at it when he gets home. So I am thinking okay fine I can do that when I look over and see a cat starts to shimmy up it!!! Remember I have a 15 lb cat, a 25 lb cat and a small 8 lb cat.....take a guess which one was trying to climb my downed tree!! So now I'm thinking....I need to get the ornaments off before they are all broken.

So now I have to undecorate the tree...a chore I HATE doing at all let alone twice in one year!!! I know that when the girls get up in the morning, especially Ashleigh, a melt down will for sure happen! I finally get the ornaments off and now I had to share my oh so Bronwell Christmas story with all my faithful readers!! Typical Bronwell fashion!

I took the picture after I had taken a lot of ornaments off the right side of the tree.....needless to say I think that tomorrow we are going to have to buy a new tree! I thought we could get one more year out of this one. We have had it since our first Christmas that we spent in Houston and it has been around with moving....well apparently it wasn't in the cards for us to have it another year!! The girls are gonna love decorating the tree again...of course after they have their melt down as to what happened to the tree!! lol

PICTURES PICTURES PICTURES!!!

So I am going to catch up a bit with the pictures from our past few weeks or so. I hope everyone enjoys!

Let me first start with the birthday party that we went to last Friday. The girls had a total blast! I didn't pick out very appropriate clothes for them to wear! lol

I love the panties shot here! lol

Ashleigh and her friend Michaela

All the kids!!
Ashleigh and her friend again! She loves having little girlfriends!

Addison and Lindsey...the birthday boy's sister. Both the girls love her and she is sooo good with them!

Cheesing it up in one of the blow up things!

Ashleigh and Carter, the birthday boy!

Addison trying to "stop" the hamster ball from rolling!

This guy was great!! He was left in the stands after a Sharks game. Those of you that have been to the tank know that it is LOUD and I don't know how you can sleep....oh wait..he was passed out!! lol His buddy had to poke him and shake him to get him to wake up!! Too funny!

Ashleigh loving Addison before bed.

I can't believe that Addison ran right up to Sharkie downstairs before the last game!! This is the closest she has gotten without holding on to me!! I'm so pumped!! lol

Look at my raisins!

Cheesing it up after the ice cream from Aunt Norma!

Ashleigh and her tattoo! She LOVES it!

Ashleigh, Addison, Lilly and Griffin after a game

I wanted to show my Christmas decorations this year. I'm pretty proud that I have managed to find a place for everything. The girls love the things that make noises. They lined them up in front of the tree so I could take a picture. That's what made me take pictures of a few other things as well.

Addison again sporting the no pants look!

I ended up getting my Grandma's Christmas village when we cleaned out the house. I wasn't sure about it as I started setting it up....but I think it turned out pretty good. The painting above was also from my grandparent's house. I like the village so much that I think I am going to add a piece a year to my collection and get a special table next year just to put it on.

It all wouldn't fit on the mantle...so this is the little bit that didn't fit.

I tried to get all the lights in but didn't feel like going in the street. We added the deer this year because Grandma and Grandpa Boom have them in their yard and when the girls saw pictures they had to have them too! lol

I love my door! lol My dad made the bell thing for my grandparents and the bow came from their stuff as well....and the snowman I had. If you didn't know...I LOVE snowmen for Christmas! My mom always gets me something snowman for Christmas and I always seem to buy whatever I see. I love them!

Our sectional is in front of the fireplace and the mantle is full of village so I decided to use my curio cabinet for our stockings. The girls picked out their stockings last year and Rick wrote on them. My mom made the tree on the top for my Grandma...again more stuff I managed to end up with!! lol

What The Bronwell Girls Are Thankful For....

So today being actually Thanksgiving, I decided to ask my lovely little darling girls what they are thankful for.

Ashleigh proceeds to tell me: Mum Mum I am thankful for Daddy, Norma, and my family.

Addison then tells me: Me thankful for Norma, Daddy, Sheba, Aubie, Milo, Gus and my family.

WTF???? What about Mommy!!! I'm telling you! I spend the most time with them and they say they are thankful for Daddy and Norma!!

For those of you that don't know Norma....Norma works at the rink with Rick. She sits behind us at the games and has a boyfriend that for the longest time the girls just called "Boyfriend." His name is Martin. Norma also babysits for us from time to time. She's just a great person! I call her Aunt Norma because she takes care of the girls like they are her nieces. Every time she goes anywhere during a game, whether it be to potty, get food, to the Sharks store, she always takes at least one of the girls....and they come back with goodies that she bought them....even though I send them with money!

She is such a great friend to our family and I am very thankful that she is in our lives!

So speaking of thankful....I have to say that I have many things to be thankful for this year! I am thankful for Rick who puts up with my crap day in and day out! I can't forget my sweet little girls who mean the world to me! I am thankful for a very loving family that has been there for us whenever we have needed them. Of course I have to be thankful for our zoo! I also can't forget our friends! Where would we be without our friends that read our blog!! lol

Okay enough! Hopefully tomorrow I will get to posting pictures! I don't think I am going to brave the crowds at least early anyway. With Rick being gone, I'd have to bring the kids..and 4 or 5 am is just too early for them!! And me too!! I just placed a pretty good order at kohls.com and got free shipping plus an extra 10% off. I think I am seriously almost done....I keep saying that but yet I keep buying! I love to shop!! lol

P.S. Addison just came up to me and I asked her what she was thankful for and she said, with a hug to my arm, you mommy! lol

Thanksgiving At The Bronwell's!!!

Okay I keep saying that my neglect is coming to an end...and it really is! Big Daddy asked me about the blog and why I hadn't been posting on it! Now I know I gotta get in gear and start posting again. So here's to me getting off my rear and posting away!

It has been a hectic few weeks and it isn't even Thanksgiving yet!! Let's just start with the hockey schedule. We have had a Shark's game every other day which totally blows! I feel like all we do is go to the rink!!

Then my little baby, Addison, got croup! Now this is the first dose of this that either girl has gotten. Of course it was when Rick was out of town. I almost took her to the emergency room because she was so upset that she was having a hard time breathing. Once she calmed down, she was better so I held off until the doctor could see her in the morning. This was last Sunday into Monday morning.

Off to the doctor we go. She has hardly gotten any sleep as well as just being cranky sick. I am exhausted!! I am not used to these sleepless nights!! I have been spoiled that my kids have slept through the night from 8 weeks on! Anyway they doctor knows right away it is croup and tells me what to do and gives me a prescription for prednazone or however you spell it!

She finally started to get better in about 2-3 days. Luckily we didn't have anything going on and we could just stay home and rest. So I'm thinking that I kinda am sick, and Ashleigh is kinda sick so we should be done with this nonsense....WRONG!

On Saturday night....Ashleigh gets croup!! Those of you that don't know what croup is will know the first time you hear the cough. It sounds like a seal barking...no lie! So Ashleigh was super sick as well. I knew what to do thanks to Addison's appointment and didn't have to take her to the doctor. The best thing about croup is that it only lasts a few days and it worse at night.

Okay let me back up to Friday. We had a birthday party to go to that the girls were so afraid that we would miss because we were sick....but we didn't! They had a total blast and loved it! It was at this place that we have been to a few other parties at. They have a soccer field with a big hamster ball and big soccer balls that you can kick around. Ashleigh tried to get in the hamster ball but got scared and came out! lol

They also have an area with all kinds of blow up things to play on. Addison climbed up this HUGE slide all by herself and FLEW down it! I'll try to post pictures soon. I haven't even had time to download them!

Now fast forward to today. Rick has a game tomorrow and then goes out of town on Thanksgiving. This is something that we are used to. It happens almost every year. Anyway we decided to celebrate Thanksgiving today as a family.

I cooked dinner for us...duh who else would cook! lol Anyway we had everything that you normally have. I also made roll mops which Rick's mom makes at holidays and Strawberry Dreamwhip, which my mom makes. I know we can't be with our families but this is a way that a piece of each one is there with us.

Everything tasted sooo good! I love to cook Thanksgiving! It's the best and easiest! It takes all day but man is it worth it!!

So we also decorated our Christmas tree tonight. We like to turn the lights on on Thanksgiving and we wanted to decorate as a family. Rick won't get home until late late on Saturday/Sunday morning so we did it today. The girls we so funny remembering all the ornaments from last year. Ashleigh kept saying every one was her favorite. We even put on Christmas music to get us in the spirit. Both the girls danced away. Again pictures to come!

Okay well I better head to bed. All that cooking made me EXHAUSTED! Until tomorrow....hopefully! lol j/k

P.S I think we are all HEALTHY....well mostly healthy now! I'm so done being sick!

Seriously.....

I can't seriously believe how old Ashleigh is acting lately!!! I know kids grow up...but man I don't think I am ready for it!!

I am keeping this quick as Rick is wanting to watch TV.....but I will post more tomorrow...I have totally been neglecting my blog and that has to change!!!

I'm Outta My Funk....I Think!

So thanks for letting me vent yesterday. I feel much better today...although I'm certain that I am going crazy!! My monkeys are driving me to drink....HEAVILY!!! lol

We didn't do much today because Addison still isn't feeling 100% herself. She talked to Rick on the phone and sounded so much like a little old man he thought I was having her fake it because her voice was so low! She seems to be better....I just hope that we don't pass this crap around the house. Everyone we know is sick!

On to other things....the Sharks got 4 points out of a possible 4 this road trip. Rick gets to spend the night partying it up in Nashville...one of his favorite NHL cities! The next game isn't until Saturday at home so we get a little break with just practices.

I'm off to bed. I am so exhausted that I think we are all going to be in bed by 9! lol

WARNING! It's Not Been A Good Day!!

Seriously I see why mom's go postal!! It has been one of those...well past few days that I just feel like crying!

The girls have been okay...but Ashleigh is apparently going through a stage of bitchiness! I have no other word for it! She has been so bad the past few days that I want to strangler her!! She has been mean to Addison and very disrespectful. When she was in time out, she started banging her head on the wall....real smart I know!

I don't know what has gotten into her. I want my sweet little girl back! I think it's the stress of everything that is finally getting to me. I tried to take them to Gilroy Gardens and after 4 rides and continuous fighting I said forget it we are leaving.

I don't think Addison has been feel well so that doesn't help matters. She seems to take satisfaction in making her sister angry. I am just so frustrated I could cry!

Then they do things they aren't supposed to do and get hurt then cry...I'm losing it! I know every parent has these days....but I really feel like I am going to lose it!

Thanks for letting me vent. I love my girls more than anything and I am PRAYING this is a stage we are going through! Oh and on top of all this, the house is a mess and I broke the top of my fish tank while cleaning it! Life is great!

Writer's Block!

I feel like I have been neglecting my blog lately! I feel like it's one of my kids that I haven't been paying enough attention too! It's not that we haven't been doing things...it's that I haven't made the time to write about them. I think I have a little writer's block!!

We are hopefully going to Gilroy Gardens tomorrow so I'll have pictures to post. They are getting ready to close for the season so we need to go back at least one more time. We also will be going to the aquarium as our membership is about up and I want to go there one more time too.

Rick is almost halfway done with his road trip. Just a quick 5 day one. He called me today when he was on top of the John Hancock Building. When I went to Chicago back in the day, I made it to the Sears tower, but didn't get time for the JH building. He said the weather was pretty good. He has been doing some shopping so we'll see what he got this trip! I like to look for the new things he buys that he wears when I see him on tv for the games. Of course he spends money on himself and not his precious wife or beautiful children! lol He always brings us back something special too!

That's really all that is going on with us. Super busy but busy doing the same things. Hopefully I'll feel like blogging everyday again soon! I don't know what my deal is! Guess just one of those things!

BOO For Me!!

I missed posting yesterday! I just got busy and with it being a game day we were super slammed on getting to the game and everything else.

I haven't been feeling to great lately. I feel like I am coming down with something....my throat is a bit sore and I have been extra tired. I think that, again, all the things we have been doing are finally catching up to me. I can hear my grandpa telling me slow down as he often did when I was growing up!

We ate at our usual on Wednesday, High Five and it was awesome as usual! I have been depriving myself because I usually get the salmon. Last week I got the Chicken Parm and this week the special was Kobe Beef burgers with applewood bacon and blue cheese. They were FANFLIPPINTASTIC!! I am soooo full!!

Tomorrow is the last home game for a while for us. I am ready for a break! This game every other day crap is getting old! lol I'm tired...and I'm not even working an 18 hour + day like Rick!

He is getting ready to go out of town for 5 days. I am going to use that time, along with the awesome 70+ degree weather and put up our Christmas lights outside. I usually just set my tree up early too so the zoo can get used to it and I can rearrange the living room and get used to that before we decorate it.

With Rick being out of town on Thanksgiving we are going to decorate the tree a little earlier this year so we can do it as a family. I am excited to start thinking about getting all the house decorations ready! Oh and I can really clean the house while he is gone too......HAHAHA! lol

Sharing!

Today Rick had the day kind of off so we were able to go see Madagascar 2. I thought it was a great movie! The hippo, moto moto, is hilarious! The girls loved the music! Several times I looked over and they both were dancing in their seats!

So on to my sharing story. Ashleigh was talking to me while we were in the car and she says, "Mum mum, you remember my cousin's sister? I miss her!". I told her she doesn't have a cousin or a cousin with a sister.

She then goes on to tell me, "You know....that girl at great grandma's house when we were cleaning. When we watched movies on that princess TV that broke? You know, Aurrora?"

I go on to tell her that that is my cousins daughter so her second cousin or whatever it is. She stops listening at my cousin and says, "You have to share! If you don't share then I won't share!"

I just have to laugh because she was so set on me sharing my cousin! That I have to share so she can! She really loved hanging out with Aurrora when we did clean my grandma's house. I think the more we come home and spend time together, the more she is learning who her family is....and not just the family she lives with.

Finally A Loss.....

The Sharks had their first loss in 7 games tonight. I thought sure we would beat Phoenix....but that seems to be how it works. The teams we are supposed to beat we don't and the ones we aren't we do! lol

We watched the game at my friends house since it wasn't on cable here. The girls had so much fun playing dress up and rough housing with the boys. They want to have a spend the night play date soon! I didn't think we would be doing this quite yet.....but it looks like we will be!

The girls didn't want to leave tonight...but I am happy to report are soundly sleeping because they are so worn out!!!

TURRRRRCOOOO!!

So tonight was the big game against the Dallas Stars! Thankfully we came away with a win in the last 30 seconds of the game. I love those games because they are so exciting! Makes watching so much fun!!

All throughout the game, Ashleigh would chant, Let's go Sharks clap, clap, clap, clap, clap, clap and would actually say clap rather than clapping! If she wasn't chanting that she was crying about Nabby, the goalie for those that don't know, being hurt. If she wasn't crying about that, she was saying that Stars mean twinkle twinkle! They both were a riot tonight!

Norma brought them some binoculars to use during the game. She gave us a pair last season and we can't seem to find them. Ashleigh truly is like her mother! She kept looking at people with them!!

And of course the cotton candy didn't help with their craziness! lol

The girls had a great time downstairs playing with their friends. The oldest girl is in kindergarten so she doesn't come unless it is the weekend. All the girls love playing with each other! It was hard for them all to say goodbye because the boys left right after the game for Phoenix. The will be home tomorrow so it's just a quick trip.

Sharkie even made an appearance in our section tonight so it just made the perfect night...a win and a visit from him! The girls were extra happy! lol

I'll have an update about soccer and pictures probably tomorrow. I am off to get the monkeys in bed! I'm ready to SLEEP IN tomorrow!!! We are going over to our friends to watch the game since we don't get it on the local channel. The girls are excited because they love their friends! Should be a fun night!
