Thoughts And Prayers....

I just had to post that I am thinking about all our friends in Houston with Hurricane Ike on the more. I am thankful that we won't live there as we have been through this with Rita...although this is much worse. I just remember all too clearly going to Wal-Mart and having the shelves be empty because people we trying to get prepared and we weren't able to buy anything that we really needed in a time like this. I talked to a good friend of mine this morning, and before the phone went dead, she told me they are boarding up their house (They never do this! They are the reason we stayed in Houston for Rita...they are always calm) Anyway they have no cable or internet..which is better than no power...but I'm sure that is to come soon enough. I am just worried as we still have many close friends that live there. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers!
