Mommy...The Neighbors Are Fiestaing!

We have been pretty much being lazy the past days. The weather has FINALLY cooled off and things are getting back to normal after we have heard from all our friends in Houston that they all are okay. Luckily most didn't receive much damage to their houses. We went to the park a few days ago and I just have to put pictures on the computer so I can share them. The girls had a great time "rolling down the sand hills" (from Wiggles) down a hill in the park. I'll try to post that later today or tomorrow. We are getting ready for Ashleigh's last skating lesson of the session today. Soccer starts in a week...and then hockey not too far behind it. Rick leaves next Wednesday when preseason games start. I can't believe our summer is over so soon! I have to find a way to get back to Montana before it snows!!!

Last night we were outside playing in the backyard and Ashleigh gets up in her club house and spies on the neighbors (You can tell she is my child because she likes to be nosey! lol) and says "Mommy, the people over there...they are fiestaing! Now I am not sure that is a word....but nonetheless it was pretty funny and they do happen to be Mexican so it really did fit. I can see Dora is teaching the essentials to the girls!

An update on the potty training front....we have hit a HUGE milestone...Addison went poop in the big potty!!! WOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOO!! She usually went her diaper. I put one on at night as she still pees over night...well that is done now too! Four days in a row with no wet diaper or pull-up after a nap and at night! She was so excited about this huge event that I was talking to my mom on the phone when she was going and she insisted, while still on the potty, telling Grandma and Grandma that she went potty! She gets to pick out a toy for her prize! I can't tell you how pumped I am that she is FINALLY getting it! I thought she would be in diapers until she was 10! It's a little bittersweet though...because she really is growing up and the diaper days are almost behind us. I won't know what to do with no diaper changing and no diapers in the house!! Time for a new baby I guess! lol
