We Reached A Milestone Today!!!

We reached a milestone today and not the kind you are thinking of!!

We made our big trip to Wal-Mart today to do some grocery shopping and of course had to cruise the Halloween clearance aisles. I didn't feel like picking through things for only 50% off! I do that when they are super cheap!

Anyway my daughter had other ideas!! She marched right over to the Halloween costume section and started browsing! Addison was strapped in the baby seat so she didn't get to peruse the selections!

Ashleigh selected a Hanna Montana dress/costume that she just had to have! I didn't think we were at this stage in our parental area yet! I thought we were still in the princess area...not the Hanna Montana/High School Musical/Camp Rock stage! I am still hoping that she only liked it because it was pink and had sparkles on it!

I told her if it was $5 she could get it. I heard her say...."I sure hope it is five bucks!" It ended up being $10. I didn't have the heart to tell her no when she took such good care of it while in the store. We were there for quite a while and she made sure to hang it on the cart so it wouldn't get wrinkled.

When we got in the car, she wanted to put it on. I told her when we got home. She hung it from the clothes hangy thing in the car. And sure enough when we got home, she put it on, along with the hair band thing and wouldn't take it off! It makes me so sad because my little girl is really becoming quite the little girl. I have said that before but it just kinda hits me from time to time that she will be starting school in less than a year and that she has girl friends and is a little girl...not a toddler anymore! Addison hasn't' quite reached this stage yet....thankfully!

Here are few pictures from today and one from last night at the game....It was nice that Rick was home tonight. We went to our normal Wednesday dinner spot and had AWESOME food!

It is getting cold here...in the upper 40's at night (I know I know....some of you have snow!) so I am off to bed because I am cold and don't want to put the heat on yet!
