We try to take everyone that comes to visit us to San Fran to do some sight seeing. When Rick's parent's and Heather came last month, we went to Coit Tower and saw the beautiful view from there. When the Boom's and my brother came, we went to Alcatraz. This time we went to the Aquarium By The Bay.
Brenda drove so we had to get Addison's car seat out. The girls were so excited that they wanted to wait for them to come outside. They played in Addison's seat and Ashleigh put her little lawn chair in the yard and waited so patiently!
When we got there, we decided to take a few pictures of the kids. Again they are all such hams that the pictures turned out great!
Ashleigh and Carter are about 6 months apart. Carter is older. They are just so cute together!! During the day, they held hands and had just so much fun! On the ride home, Carter told Ashleigh to close her eyes. She did and he gave her a big kiss on the cheek!! Lindsey thought this was the greatest thing as it was Ashleigh's first kiss! lol
Again, we posed the kids for some more goofy fun!
It was a pretty neat aquarium. It isn't very big which is kinda nice. They have this people mover thing that goes around the exhibit. First you go through a big tunnel with shallow water fish and then the next tunnel is the deeper water tunnel with the sharks. Ashleigh and Carter loved the starfish sticking to glass, on the sides and above us.
This picture cracks me up!! Lindsey was freaking out because she doesn't like things behind her and Carter wasn't sure what was happening! Ashleigh had the cheesy smile going on and Addison was just content with whatever!! Lindsey didn't know that at the exact time I took the picture, there was a ray swimming right over head!
All the kids got a kick out of this fish with one eye. Of all the things to see and remember, this seems to be the one that stuck out for the day!
They had a few touch pools. Addison was trying to climb in to touch the leopard shark. I had to hold her up and she almost got her hair wet!! Ashleigh and Carter wouldn't touch it!
Ashleigh loves the ocean! She was just looking at it and deep in thought!
After we left the aquarium, we went down the pier a bit and looked at the sea lions. By this point, we all were pretty tired and ready to go home. They all had a fun time walking on this cement wall thing.
It was such a great day! The weather was beautiful! Nice and sunny and clear! It actually was kinda hot in the afternoon! Crazy for January!! Now we have so much left to do before we leave on Wednesday. I feel like my to do list is HUGE!! Oh and a side note....the battery died in the care for the 4th time in a month this morning!! Someone left the interior lights on......and they will remain nameless....Big Daddy! lol Good thing I didn't drive!!! Anyway now the DVD player is stuck in the loading phase and we can't watch movies! Honda better come through and fix it...otherwise it's gonna be a LONG trip to Anaheim!! lol
Oh and tomorrow....I have to have a stash update!! We've been so busy that I haven't been able to fit it in!!!
